MESSAGE

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

I take this opportunity to extend my sincere gratitude to all individuals who have supported us in turning this cherished dream of establishing a learning centre into a reality. Beginning with the upcoming academic session, The Highlander Institute will commence admissions for Class XI in the Arts stream at its campus in Sapormeina, Kangpokpi District.

This bold initiative has been undertaken in response to the challenges faced by parents and students each academic year, particularly due to the near absence of secondary schools that impart quality education—education that focuses on identifying individual talents and shaping students into responsible citizens of the family, society, and the nation.

Secondary education, especially in the field of social sciences, has often been overlooked by both parents and students. This has contributed to the additional challenges students face when competing in examinations and opportunities after graduation. Unfortunately, this reality has not always been adequately acknowledged. In truth, secondary education forms the very foundation for success in higher education and competitive examinations.

Keeping these concerns in mind, The Highlander Institute aims to redefine the importance of secondary education by laying a strong foundation that equips students to face future challenges with confidence and competence.

While providing quality education remains our top priority, the institute also aspires to serve as a training ground for nurturing efficient administrators, social entrepreneurs, and visionary leaders that society needs. It might sound arrogant but our commitment to nurturing such minds is non-negotiable.

I shall remain indebted for your continued support in turning this vision into reality.

May God bless you all.

Dr. Haoginlen Chongloi
